NOT DEAD YET

My dizziness is slowly dissipating. I went to the Dr yesterday and she was utterly perplexed by my symptoms. My neurological processes seemed fine so I probably don't have a tumor and didn't suffer a stroke. My blood sugar was a little low but not low enough to cause the symptoms. I'm waiting on the results of my other bloodwork. I feel better but not normal. I hope I will feel normal tomorrow because I have my first one-on-one financial advising session with a student. I am excited about it and want to do it well. As my iPod is in the other room I won't be getting up and putting new songs on because sitting up all day is my mission, walking...not so much.

Bless your heart! I had fainting spells a few years ago (including two unfortunate incidents on the El, which will be blogged about someday) and I ended up getting diagnosed with...wait for it...low blood pressure. So, the "treatment" was to keep salting my food.

NOT a problem. :) Hope your diagnosis and treatment are just as simple!

Glad to hear you're improving (even if only somewhat -- it's still better than not improving!). And glad to hear you're taking it as easy as possible. I hope the results come in quickly and don't point to anything ominous and that you get the rest of the way better very soon.

I heard from someone yesterday that there's a virus going around that has dizziness type symptoms associated with it.

I'm glad I've come in on the end of you getting better. That way the selfish part of me is satisfied in that I didn't have to worry about you even longer. Heh

But seriously, I am glad to hear whatever it is is getting better and I hope they're able to figure it out for you.

I get floaty/woozy feelings sometimes around the times of my migraines. Sometimes before them and sometimes during. But since you don't get migraines I'd say it's not that. Hmmm, let's hope this is an isolated case.

Glad you are doing a bit better, but it will be nic to get the labs in so maybe you can find out what's going on.

Hope everything works out Nat. Hopefully it's something minor like a bug going around or something.

New prescription for glasses maybe? Keep us posted. ;-)
